An IOS based Wireless Bridge Scoring System

PhoneScorer is an Apple IOS based wireless Bridge scoring system. It is aimed at small to medium sized bridge clubs who rely on paper travellers and then either score by hand or manually enter scores into bridge scoring software. PhoneScorer has been designed for the iPhone or iPad and connects to an iPad based App called SnapScorer via a wi-fi network, It is used to capture of results as boards are played during a Duplicate Session or Teams Match.

The system has built in movements for 2 to 16 tables, for both Howell and Mitchell (1 or 2 winners) situations.
There is a A user friendly editing environment so you can also create your own movements. Printable files can be generated of all movements so you can refresh your movement cards as and when you like.

Our approach in developing the system has been focused on utilising existing iOS devices already owned by your club members, hence reducing any major up front costs. This makes PhoneScorer an attractive proposition even to small clubs, where the cost of purchasing wireless bridge scoring systems has been prohibitive.

The system is highly portability making it an ideal choice for Bridge Clubs with no permanent premises or storage facilities

The SnapScorer App

SnapScorer is an ios App designed for the Apple iPad. It contains everything you need to run & score your clubs duplicate sessions and Teams of 4 or 8 matches.

SnapScorer can be used to manually score duplicate sessions where travellers have been used. Dynamic bespoke keyboards speed up traveller entry over computer based bridge scoring systems. SnapScorer also offers speech recognition as an traveller entry option.

Coupled with the PhoneScorer App, SnapScorer can also gather results from tables as the boards are being played.
